Kick the Tires...

'cause I'm only days away from lightin' the fires!


Yup, I did it. I broke down and bought a yule log DVD for the flat screen mounted in my condo which I plan to enjoy as long as we have all this rain and cold.



Not sure if it's the big black rectangle mounted on the wall that I don't want to see while entertaining this holiday season or because I'm fascinated by the kitschy-ness, but this DVD being made especially for plasmas sold me.

I'll share a picture of two with my feet up by the "fire" once it arrives if y'all don't make fun of me too much.

  1. I think I am going to require a real Yule log. Although I reside below the Mason-Dixon line, the weather outside is frightful -- 23F and snowing!

I have had a dvd yule log for the last 3 years and I LOVE it and no matter how many times my friends make fun of me for having it on in the background during all of my winter gatherings, I stand strong! I came across an yule log dvd with scenes featured in high definition and several different options of fireplaces accompanied by music...amazing.

    This is the site where I originally got it, I also have the aquarium for my summer gatherings:-)...

  6. As far as I know, Yule logs, whether real or virtual, have no capacities for olfactory sensation. ;-)
