SGGiftGuide: Holiday 2009 III

  • L.L.Bean Hunter's Tote Bag: Zip top and gear loop - cause at the end of the day it's really about how much you've 'bagged.'
  • Ducks Unlimited Membership: Whether helping conserve America's wetlands or learning more about waterfowl, the monthly magazine and fleece vest is the gift that gives year round.
  • Orvis Carry-It-All Rod and Real Case: Top shelf bag to get all your gear to Turks and Caicos or down to the Gulf Coast in one sharp lookin' piece.
  • Guy Harvey T-Shirt: Complete with Frocket (Front Pocket). A Southern Classic.
  • Le Chameau's: Worn by Kings & Queens and famous for their price tag, but when you are hiking through brush, ankle high puddles and freezing your toes off, I'm told you won't be sure how you could have ever lived w/o them.
  • Mad Bomber: From the flannel exterior to the fur interior this hat keeps you warm when walking the lab in the morning and around the bonfires at night.
  • Zippo Hand Warmer: Received this last year monogrammed with "DAM" and use it regularly - great gift that fits in your pocket and the stockings you'll hang by the chimney with care.

  2. Frockets are my go to move. Love those things and refuse to buy t-shirts without them.

  4. I've got a pair of the Le Chameau Vierzon boots which are the neoprene-lined ones without the zipper. They're pretty sweet (though they don't get worn too often), but the Chasseurs (pictured above) would be unbelievable to have.

  5. Let me know if you get the Le Chameau's. Wear then a while and tell me what you think. I'll pay the price if you think they're worth it. I live in and love rubber boots. I even wore a pair under my satin skirt at the inaugural ball 4 years ago. (Hey, they were Burberry, not just run of the mill wellies).
