Clothes Horse

As a self described clothes horse, I've gone through more gear that I care to admit. Yet, over of the past few years all those clothes seem to have been whittled down to a well-edited wardrobe.

Across the coming months, I'll outline the key pieces that have built a pretty solid foundation for wherever life takes me and the conditions I face. I'm looking forward to hearing your own stories as I'm sure many of us share a common fondness for many of the classic items forthcoming.

  2. These are great! Love them all especially the Perlis hat and classic BB blazer. Looking forward to hearing more and sharing some of my faves too!

Sorry we weren't able to get together at Mardi Gras...just glad you were able to travel safely. There will be another time! Perhaps in DC ;-)

  6. Given the ridiculous fees the airlines are charging these days to check a bag it is imperative to have a group of go to pieces that can pack down into one small carry on. So technically investing in classics that fit well can save you money!!

  7. Trish & Amy: Stay tuned on Thursday.

Longwing: Perlis is waiting for your online purchase.

JRS: I'm curious to see just how much we all have in common.

    LAS: You got it.

PCW: I appreciate your spin and actually agree. The sweaters/shirts etc that I spent more on have outlasted their less expensive brethren.

  9. Anon (4:27): RB4114 Tortoise Brown. I've had probably 6 pairs of black RB4114 but keep breaking/losing them. Switched to tortoise and haven't looked back.

  10. D- The Alden loafers are the greatest dress shoe ever created (Never full strap through...'a little Cap Hill' as AEV might say). I love this post.

  11. BJP: I agree on the strap issue as shown above. Stay tuned, you'll appreciate tomorrow's post.
