Jump On The Wagon

At the end of the year, Volvo will cease production of the V70 in US and Canadian markets to be replaced solely by the XC70. Let's take a moment and look back on the iconic car.

Very cute. I love my S60. Although, I have test driven the XC90, it's a lot of fun and much more sleek than the wagon. A more sophisticated "mommy" car.

  2. A sad, sad state of affaird indeed. I blame nightmare "crossover" vehichles, Ford Motor Co., terrible/non-existant marketing, and a general decline in American taste and practicality....

  3. Brings a tear to my eye. I'll forever remember a laundry list of memories from learning how to drive on our '93 940 wagon to watching the odometer hit 100,000 miles when I was 18. They just don't make them like they used to.

  5. Oh how I love a Volvo! Though I am much more partial to my S60 than a full-on wagon. Girl's gotta keep a bit of sport to her transport;)

  6. Anon: I dig the Xc90 as well, but the wagon is something special.

AEV: Stick to it. Loyal followers will keep them alive.

BJT: "A tear for my Volvo" could be a song - preppy country song, but song nonetheless.

Kathie: Please, don't shoot. Unless it's a movie.

BunnyB: 'Sport for her transport' (I'm shaking my head).
