That is so hilarious and so true! Thanks for sharing. Throw in some Nike running shorts and Patagonia or North Face fleece jackets, at least that is what all the girls in New Orleans wear.

LOL, love the marketing angle! My daughter just went through Rush (yes, I am stilling calling it Rush) and the fashions were fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSamford, my alma mater and a sorority haven, if there ever was one, is a stone's throw from the mall where that store is located. The only thing that really surprises me about the ad is the idea that a sorority girl is going to be reading the Birmingham News.

I'm a chapter advisor and very excited for Recruitment to end tomorrow for my girls. I love it and them but I am exhausted. Oh to be 20 again... Of couse I am in the north but went to school at Georgia. My kids think my stories of singing songs and wearing matching dresses and walking backwards while waving are hilarious. It would be even more exhasuting on my end but I really do miss the big fussy southern Recruitment!
