Good luck with you new business and with your charitable giving. TOn the sales tax comment earlier-The sales tax laws in North Carolina do not require that you collect sales & use tax for out of state shipments unless you have what is called a "nexus" in that other state. Assuming you don't have a "nexus" or office/retail store outside of North Carolina, there is no need to collect sales tax for out of state shipments.
